Black Rock hike – approx. 6 miles

The hike: Meet at small roadside parking area that’s on southbound side of Rt. 9W at the bottom of the mountain by Pecks Rd. (about 5/10th mile south of Angola Rd. overpass.
Trail route to be determined. We will be using woods trails and carriage roads.
Pace: Leisurely pace. 1.5 mph
Duration: Approx 4 hours
Elevation Gain: approx 2,000 feet
Difficulty: – Short hills and occasional rocky terrain. Not recommended for people doing their “first-ever” hike. You should have previously hiked similar distances and terrain.

Gear: water, snacks, etc. Appropriate footwear, ; moisture-wicking clothing
